Erik, Claudia and their three boys have lived in the Puget Sound for many years. It was here that Erik came to Christ and began to grow. Over the last few years they have served faithfully as lay leaders of a new work in Everett. In 2012 God opened the door for the Ramirezes to move beyond there and they are currently ministering in Hispanic homes all over the northern perimeter of Seattle and have begun to see families come to Christ.
Erik Ramirez is a catalytic Hispanic church planter. Since his conversion in 2001, he has been burdened to share the hope of Christ with all he meets. He has a God-sized vision that there will be a Hispanic church every 20 miles up and down the I-5 corridor from Canada to Mexico. Through his leadership, the network of churches being planted has flourished. (Initially the churches are planted under the same name, Tabernaculo Familia de Dios, and then they adopt their own name as the church planter is identified and the new work is officially established). There are currently new works in Des Moines, Federal Way, Renton, and Longview, with more coming soon!
