Mike and Terri Miller have been married for 31 years, and they've been in vocational ministry for the last 26. They are the first to admit that their marriage was in serious trouble early on. In fact, they almost didn't make it. However, after God did an amazing work in Mike's heart, their marriage was healed in a profound way as they learned how the Gospel both informs and shapes marriage. Through many stresses in life, including the unique pressures of ministry, they have experienced the joy of a marriage that doesn't just survive, but thrives. While certainly not perfect, they will both tell you that their relationship just keeps getting better, and one of their greatest joys has been mentoring and encouraging dozens of couples through the years.
Mike is a former pilot who has been in the ministry since 1992. In addition to pastoring, he served on the faculty of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as a preaching professor and campus pastor. He holds degrees from three seminaries, including both a PhD and a DMin. He has also been very involved in denominational ministry and church planting efforts. It's easy to see why he has such a heart for pastors.
Terri has mostly been a stay-at-home mom, though she has also spent time in the workforce. She is the mom of 3 and Mimi of 3, and she believes that her highest calling is to minister to and with her husband as his partner and helper. She loves ministry wives and desires to help them find the kind of joy she has in married life and church life.
